Film conversion in brief:

$7.00 per finished minute or part thereof including GST. (calculated by summing the minute count from each reel and multiplying by the rate – eg, 2 x 3.5 min reels = 7 min charge)

2k 2048 x 1576 scan resolution
Frame rate matched to source – 16, 18 or 24fps
Choice of output formats – MP4, MOV, Image Sequence
No setup fees
No minimum charges
Under and over exposed sections removed and not charged for
Only pay for view-able minutes of film
Film leaders charged at $2.50 each (if required)

Approximate film run times and costs:

50 ft reel / 75mm diameter = ±4 minutes. (Approximately $28.00)
200 ft reel / 125mm diameter = ± 12 minutes. (Approximately $95.00
400 ft reel / 175mm diameter = ± 24 minutes. (Approximately $160.00)

Video to DVD

$50.00 (INC. GST) per two hour DVD (*.VOB format MPEG2).

Includes signal conditioning and AV processing which improves the overall quality of the recording.
We will split the footage to make best use of the DVD’s and remove unwanted sections or “blue” screens.
Where there is more than one title on a disc, a menu page will be created.
Additional copies of the DVD’s – $10.00 each

Video to digital

You are welcome to supply your own hard drive, or we can supply one for you. Hard drives should be formatted as exFAT. Please check compatibility of exFAT drives with your smart TV. We can supply external hard drives and USB drives, see this link for media sales click here for media sales File size is dependent on factors such as codec type, data rate and resolution.

Our price includes

Video signal processing to improve picture quality. Video signals are re-calibrated using a vectorscope, waveform monitor and sophisticated digital video processing and time base correction equipment.
Audio signal restoration, signal level compression and EQ to reduce tape noise and maintain constant audio levels.
Basic straight cut editing to remove unwanted or bad sections.
GST

Our price excludes

Postage or courier fees. The customer pays both ways, we will add the return fee to the final invoice. We suggest the use of a trackable courier to send your material to us. We will return the cassettes via our Courier service (Track and Trace signature required) or a courier service of your choice.

We are unable to convert to Digibeta as we have a play out facility only, we can record to all other formats listed.

Tape formats can be converted to common file types used in edit systems like AVID, Davinci Resolve, Adobe Premier etc. We use professional grade video capture systems for our tape transfers.

Contact us to discuss the various options and what may be best for your application. If you choose to supply your own hard drive – it will need to be formatted as exFAT. File size is dependent on factors such as codec type, data rate and resolution.

Audio formats

LP / Audio Cassette / Micro Cassette / Mini Disc

$40.00 per tape converted to MP3, WAV files or CD each CD can hold up to 75 minutes of audio. Follow this link for more information on this service.

Our price includes

Audio signal restoration, de-clicking of LP’s, signal compression, de-crackle and EQ to remove tape noise and maintain constant audio levels.
Dividing LPs into individual tracks.
Verbatim CD-R disc with a CD Jewel case.

Video production and editing

Editing – $75.00 per hour + GST. We can add titles, music, and special effects to your videos, or we can produce a video for you.
Corporate Videos, Training Videos, Safety Videos, Conferences, Funerals etc. Call us to discuss your requirements.

Camera work – $ 125.00 per hour + GST. Includes: Cameraman, Panasonic HD Camera, Manfrotto tripod, Sennheisser Mic kit (Shotgun, handheld and lapel – all wireless), on camera light, local travel in and around Auckland City.

DVD and CD Duplication:

DVD Duplication

We offer a full range of media and packaging at competitive prices. Due to the competitive nature of this offering we do not publish prices on our website, kindly contact us for current pricing.

USB Duplication

We can duplicate USB Flash drives. You supply the master Flash Drive and we can do the rest, including printing of your company logo on the drive. We can supply the drives or you can supply your own. Due to the competitive nature of this service and the ever-changing exchange rates, kindly contact us for up to date pricing.

Data Recovery

We can recover data from damaged optical media such as CD’s, DVD’s and mini DVD’s. We can also recover data from SD cards and other storage such as floppy disc. Most DVD camcorders need to finalize the DVD before it will play on a DVD player. Our software allows us to retrieve these hidden files and create new video streams. Please contact us for pricing. There is no fee if we do not recover any data.
